Brandon was born in Oakland, California on February 1, 1965 to legendary film icon Bruce Lee and wife Linda.
As soon as he learned how to walk, his father started training him in the martial arts.
Bruce Lee originated a style called jeet kune do. He trained Brandon in this style while he was alive.
Brandon Lee was only 8 years old when his father Bruce Lee died.
Bruce Lee was the most predominant figure in martial arts during his time.
An icon for the Chinese people and an action star of many hit films.
There was a great mystery behind Bruce Lee's death.
He died July 25th, 1973.
After his father's death Brandon, his mother, and sister Shannon moved to Los Angeles.
His mother Linda, wanted to take her two children out of the limelight,
which gave them a chance at a normal childhood.
Since the beginning, Brandon was drawn towards performing.
He always wanted to be an actor and pursued that from a very young age.
It was all he wanted to do. He wanted to be known for his acting ability instead of who his father was.
He only hoped to be able to invest as much passion into acting as his father did in martial art.
After taking high school drama classes, Brandon left to attend acting classes with Lee Strasberg,
later going on to study acting at Boston's Art-Oriented Emerson College in Massachusetts.
He studied Martial Arts and drama, like his father. In 1983 he was expelled from school because of misbehaviour,
but received his diploma at Miraleste High school.
He later joined Eric Morris' American New Theater company in New York City and followed the company's
relocation to Los Angeles and appeared in their production of Full Fed Beast for playwright John Lee Hancock.
Brandon later returned to training at the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts in Marina Del Rey,
California, which was run by two of Bruce Lee's former students and instructors, Danny Inosanto and Ted Wong.
He was in "Rapid Fire", "Showdown Little Tokyo", and a few more films, including "The Crow".
He turned down offers to be in "Dragon: The Bruce Lee story".
Brandon died at the age of 28 on the set of "The Crow".
While filming one scene, where he gets shot repetitively, the cap of a blank
(which shoot harmlessly) accidently got lodged in his spine after penetrating his right abdomen.
The doctors worked desperately for five hours, but it was no use.
He was pronounced dead at 1:04 pm the next day. He was supposed to marry Eliza Hutton on April 17.
His body was flown to Seattle to be buried beside his father in Lake View Cemetary.
On April 3rd, there was a funeral. There were around 400 people there, including Steven Seagal,
David Carradine, and Brandon's best friend and Stunt co-ordinator, Jeff Imada.
Jeff was so shaken he couldn't even speak. Linda kept everyone spirits up by saying,
"Brandon would have wanted this to be a joyful occasion.
We're here to be happy and to celebrate the life of Brandon Lee."
Brandon Lee lies in the Lake View Cemetary in Seattle, Washington.
Rest in Peace Brandon, You Are Missed......
