Funny Facts About The Crow - The Movie
The Crow Fansite : Funny Facts About The Crow - The Movie
There are some things that were filmed and stayed in the movie, which are very funny.
Here you have some examples.
These are some mistakes in "The Crow". I´ve taken this from www.movie-mistakes.com
*If you look close when Eric enters the church, there is a closeup and you can see something shining in his hair, right below
his ear. It looks a lot like an earing. But there was someone that told me, that it is a bullet shell that he has tied in his hair,
like he does in the comic.
*During the scene when Eric is going up the stairs to revisit his old apartment, the show the crow sitting on the banister and in
the next moment you hear it fly away, but it's shadow is still there.
*In the scene where Brandon walks in on Top Dollar's meeting and there's a big shoot out, the guy in the trousers with hearts on them
gets shot and killed, but a few seconds later you see him again shooting at Eric.
*When Eric first goes back to his apartment, right after he returns from the grave, it is raining inside the apartment and his
movements look an awful lot like the movements he just made in the rainy alleyway. [Deliberate - due to Brandon Lee's death, they
digitally re-used some shots]
*In the big shootout scene at Top Dollar's, if you take notice of all of the people sitting around the table, there seem to be a lot being
picked off one by one, and yet there are still plenty of people left alive at the table.
*In the scene at the bar with Gideon when the black guy pours Gideon a drink it is only about 1/3 full. When Gideon drinks it
in the next shot it is almost full.
*Gideon gets ready to pour himself a drink. Gideon is shown first unscrewing the bottle top. Look close, freeze the frame, the
TOP COMES OFF. Then the black guy comes along and starts unscrewing it again. He turns the cap several times before it
comes off, and the cap can be seen to be moving straight up, when in fact it is already off and should simply wobble around the top.
*When Lee takes T-Bird in his car and the chase with the Police begins, the camera flashes to look at the chase through the eyes
of the crow, the Police cars emergency lights are strobes, but when the camera reverts back to the chase scene they are the old style rotating flashers.
*When Sarah is sitting at the Hot Dog stand near the beginning of the movie, her hood changes from being up and down without her touching it.
*After Eric spreads petrol (or something ignitable), he leaves Gideon's Pawn Shop with the shotgun full of rings. When standing
outside, he shoots the shotgun into the building. First of all, I doubt that even petrol could make such a big explosion.
Secondly, if you watch closely, the top of the building seems to blow up before the bottom.
This next one was not a mistake but just a cool fact. Right after Gideon's Pawn Shop blows up and the cop and Eric are talking
you see the cop yell at the people looting the shop. Well if you look close you see a guy running away with a TV set.
This is actually James O'Barr, creator of The Crow! He was on the set one day and they asked if he wanted to be in the movie.
*When Gideon gets stabbed in his shop he gets stabbed in his right hand, however, when he is at the bar later, the stab wound is on his left hand.
*There is a scene where Eric is following the crow through a dark room. The camera trails off to show the crow's shadow and there
is a sound as of wings fluttering yet the shadow is perfectly still.
*Throughout the movie Eric's clothes get more and more torn up, and then the are suddenly wrapped in electrical tape. So are his hands and wrists. This is never explained in the movie. This wrapping of electrical tape happens in a deleted scene, so it just appears in the final cut.
